BLACK SABBATH Lifestyle Nearly Killed OSBOURNE And SINCLAIR

July 18, 2005

ContactMusic.com is reporting that Ozzy Osbourne's former BLACK SABBATH keyboardist John Sinclair is relieved they have curbed their wild lifestyles — because they would be dead if they had continued their notorious alcohol and drug abuse.

Sinclair says that like Osbourne, he has faced a difficult battle with drink and drugs, but knew he had to change his ways before he faced an untimely death.

He says, "I have been sober for 15 years but I used to drink terribly with him.

"I am lucky to be alive. I am sure Ozzy would say he was too.

"Most of the stories about him are so out there, but I can't repeat them because of confidentiality clauses."
